Post Title

I suppose I should post. I might even do these things frequently now.

For those of you who care, I finished Chapter...what are we on now? Eight? I think it's eight...
I finished the next Battle for Blogland chapter, then. That makes sense.

But it's horrible. Truly, utterly horrible. The bad thing is, I don't actually think I'm going to make this much better. There are just some settings that I can never ever make good in a million years. This chapter just happens to fall into this setting.

I don't know if I'll post it for a while yet. I might get lucky and make it somewhat good, but probably not. Oh well.

School's back again for me, as you know. Work is being thrown at me again. Literally. The teachers give it to the students at the front and they're too lazy to walk around the room so they just chuck it at people. It's annoying, but also amusing, in a weird way.

Things are getting warmer again, which I despise... I feel the cold way more than others but I cannot stand the heat. It's horrible. You get all sweaty and hot and... stuff. Just unpleasant.

For those poor, poor, poor people who read the original copy of Zathract Mist when I first started this blog, I would like to apologize. Just to take a moment and say sorry.

Sorry.

There we go. How meaningful.
But seriously, it was terrible, and I do apologize for the people who had to endure its crappiness.
I have, however, finally restarted it. I know I said I was editing through it ages ago, but I decided that that was just never going to be enough. It was way to much like Skulduggery Pleasant.

So I have a brand new plot, a brand new background and brand new character relations. Most of the characters are actually being taken away, simply because they don't fit into this plot. But they'll be brought back into the second or third book. Y'know, because I'll really get around to writing them. *cough*

It'll be weird writing Zathract Mist without Slayn, actually, because she is probably my favourite character. She's overpowered, yeah, which has been demonstrated in Nix and Mist, but she was still my favourite. Just her personality, really. She's just a fun character to use. But at least she's in Nix and Mist now, so I'll live.

I'm getting along nicely with this new one, so you may see that sooner or later. If you care. I'm not sure what your opinions are on Zathract Mist at this point. I know the original threw heaps of people off. Sorry about that. I should burn them.
Digitally.
Because it's possible, don't question me. Silly people.

Uhm... Not much else is going on, really. We're doing speeches for English this term.
Yaaaay...
I did do a short speech on Skulduggery Pleasant, though. Needless to say, it was horrible, but was met with pretty good reactions, so my class might stop being silly and go read them.
It may be because I threatened to whack them with my hardback of Dark Days if they didn't, but probably not. Anyone who really knows me would know that I'd never risk damaging my precious hardback...

My precious...

The Hobbit is coming out soon. Which actually is a yay. I should read the book before I see that movie, so I'll do that soon.

And I've rambled for too long now.

Nix - Stay awesome.

Sparky - Tank.

Luce - Don't die.

Hel - No.

Bye!

  3. I did a speech on Skulduggery last term! ...and I threatened to hit people with a Hardback copy of Dark Days...Purely because DD was the only Hardback I had taken to school...But it was funny. :3

I get ALL my work thrown at me. And sometimes it'll hit me in the face...which is hilarious. Maddie laughs at me all the time... Awh, I'll miss that next year. :( BUT, YES. IT'S INCREDIBLY AMUSING HAVING BOOKS AND PAPERS THROWN AT YOU. :P

The Hobbit! Omfg, I CANNOT WAIT. XD

Don't die. I won't (: Been on my wrist all day. You don't die, either!

    I enjoy ramblings...They're fun! :D

  4. That's really cool. I never read your first one so you don't need to apologise to me!

We have a teacher who always throws the work at us. He keeps finding new and inventive ways of doing it.
I've read The Hobbit. It's good, and an easy read. Isn't it weird how both Martin Freeman AND Benedict Cumberbatch are going to be in it?
    Johnlock.
The only thing is I think it's in two parts. As in, not the whole story is in this one movie. I don't even know.
